“Staff from Down Syndrome Cork & The Field of Dreams were delighted to receive Fire Safety Training recently from Willie O’Leary of Munster Fire & Safety.
This was a very informative session with information provided on all aspects of fire safety, from the correct use of fire protection equipment, to safe evacuation procedures. An informative video was played to highlight the causes of fires, and detailed explanation given on the various types of fire extinguishers and which are appropriate to use on what type of fire.
It was great that staff were once again familiarised with the location of all the fire safety equipment on our site, and trained how to use a fire extinguisher – this practical element of the training helped to reinforce the learning.
Overall staff were very pleased with this excellent presentation from Willie, and I regard the training as one of the most important 2 hours any organisation could spend. I would highly recommend Munster Fire & Safety to provide this training to any organisation.”
